Service tax on Accommodation in Hotels (i.e.Lodging)

Kindly let me know the procedure one has to collect and pay the service tax on Accommodation Service. Also the Regn. process with Service Tax department, Basic exemption, books to maintain.

Service Tax on Hotel Accommodation
It would be on room rental which are taxable i.e. over Rs. 1000/-. That only wouldbe the taxable services and other services would notbe counted for the calcuation of 10 lakhs.
